The Directorate of Town & Country Planning Assam has released an official notification for recruitment of 8 contractual posts under the Department of Housing & Urban Affairs, Assam.
1️⃣ Specialist Architect
No. of Posts: 2 (Landscape Architecture / Urban Design)
Age Limit: Not more than 40 years (as on 01/01/2026)
Qualification: Bachelor’s in Architecture + Master’s in Urban Design / Landscape Architecture / Architecture
Experience: Minimum 12 years in construction drawings, building byelaws, commercial & urban design projects.
2️⃣ Sr. GIS Expert
No. of Posts: 2
Age Limit: Not more than 38 years (as on 01/01/2026)
Qualification: M.Sc / M.Tech / MA in GIS / Geography / Remote Sensing OR B.Plan / M.Plan with GIS
Experience: Minimum 10 years in GIS spatial analysis. Drone data & DGPS knowledge preferred.
3️⃣ GIS Assistant
No. of Posts: 4
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years (as on 01/01/2026)
Qualification: M.Sc / M.Tech / MA in Remote Sensing & GIS OR B.Plan / M.Plan with GIS
Experience: Minimum 5 years in GIS spatial analysis. Urban Planning project experience preferred.
